In November, Cassie filed an explosive lawsuit against her ex Diddy, accusing him of sexual assault, abuse and more. The lawsuit is the first of many, with several others coming after Cassie went public about her alleged experiences with the mogul. Didi has since been arrested and now faces multiple charges related to alleged racketeering and sex trafficking. According to reports, if convicted of all charges, he could be sentenced to at least 15 years in prison or up to life in prison.
Now, a source tells the Daily Mail that Cassie is considering a return to music by releasing some new music. They claim: “Now that Diddy is in jail and some of his lackey executives have resigned, Cassie is considering a return to music.”

However, this isn’t the first time fans have heard of Cassie’s return to the scene. In December, her former collaborator Ryan Leslie revealed that the last time they spoke, she was planning a tour. “I think that was a long time ago after our working relationship ended,” he said of her accusations against Diddy. “The last time we spoke, she was planning a tour.” As of this writing, it’s unclear if or when Cassie plans to release new music or hit the road. Regardless, it’s safe to say that fans will be happy to see her get back to her passion after what is undoubtedly a difficult chapter in her life.
