Beyoncé paused his performance and shouted Anthony Cosby to pay tribute to their viral history when he discovered a familiar face and longtime supporter on July 4 at the Cowboy Carter Tour at Northwest Stadium in Washington, D.C.
“Come to Anthony. I see you, cousin. Husband.” Beyoncé smiled and walked to the edge of the stage, saying with a smile, locking his eyes with Cosby, who held a sign with his name. This moment, captured on the next day by Cosby’s video shared on Instagram, reignited a fan favorite memory from more than a decade ago.

Cosby made headlines for the first time in Beyoncé’s I’m Touring, when he announced his husband during a live show. She asked his name as she was about to perform “Say My Name.” He replied, “Anthony Cosby Hyphen Knowles.” After asking if he was her cousin, he replied, “I am your husband!”
The lively exchange later became immortalized in the live version of the “Say My Name” video, and has since gained more than 21 million views on YouTube.
Beyoncé’s mother, plus this moment Tina KnOwles also interjected on Instagram, posting a photo of Cosby on the show with the title “Okay! My Imagined Son Finally Reappeared (Last Night)” and then smiled and heart emoji emoji.
The Cowboy Carter Tour held a back-to-back show at the Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada on July 26.
