Bebe Rexha revealed that she suffered a loss of pregnancy during her back and forth period with Azealia Banks, who publicly mocked the singer in the appearance of Met Gala, showing a deep personal health struggle in the now-deleted position.
The exchange began Monday night (May 6), when the bank targeted the red carpet look of Lexus.

“SIS gave me – hormonal birth control implants or something,” she said on Twitter. “This gave her the implant/nuvaring that she needed to remove, or the Depo shot that needed to stop happening (I didn’t even try to play her).”
Rexha fires the next day: “You might want to jump on some type of therapy, SIS, Lexapro is great for me. It helps you keep deep sorrow and the confusion you continue to project. Rehabilitation looks great for everyone’s recovery. Try it.”
Rexha tries to turn off the people back and forth, “Well, I’m going to enjoy my day now. Have a great day for you and everyone loves you.”
But when Rexha shares a fragile truth in a tweet she later deleted, the conversation takes a dark turn.
She began, “I was so tired of commenting on my weight and added, “I have pcos and struggled with infertility. I was pregnant, it didn’t work, and I’ve been suffering in silence. I never owe anyone, but now you might think twice before commenting on anyone’s body. ”
Azealia Banks responded, mocking Bebe Rexha’s mental health medication.
“You really should get rid of Lexapro lmao,” she wrote. “Weight gain is a trademark side effect of Lexapro.”
The bank follows up: “Honestly, I have nothing to be ashamed of because trust me…the problem with SSRI is much worse than anything you feel like you are going to go through now.”
On Wednesday morning (May 7), Rexha told her Instagram story after pondering her post.
“I shared something very personal,” she wrote. “I admit that what disappointed myself is to let vulnerability stand out from what was supposed to be a special night. I was also frustrated, and I even felt that I needed to explain myself at all. But I knew that transparency might help others feel seen. I always wanted to be the voice of the woman who handled the same thing.”
