Anderson. Paak confirmed he was recording new music with Mariah Carey while appearing on track and field star Instagram, while driving speculation about their relationship.
The “Silk Voice” performer casually puts down the news while playing musical trivia games, correctly named Carey’s 1995 hit single “Beyang Be My Baby” and then flashes with Mariah Carey T-shirts hiding under his jacket.
“It’s going to be Mariah Carey, Mariah Carey,” he said. “I remember things like fifth grade and what about watching music videos and obsessing with huge.”
When asked if they had ever worked together, .paak did not hesitate. “We are creating some music from her new album,” he said.
Collaborative confirmation follows as the two artists continue to draw their attention from the stage connection. Dating rumors first surfaced after being photographed in Aspen, Colorado in December.

Since then, they have found them together at the Ihearttradio Music Awards and left a restaurant in West Hollywood in March.
Neither Paak nor Carey publicly resolved the nature of their relationship. Both artists were married before.
Paak, 39, has been married for more than 13 years and filed for divorce in January with his second wife, Jaylyn Chang.
The ex-couple shared two children.
Carey, 56, shares 14-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan with ex-husband Nick Cannon and has a long-term relationship with dancer Bryan Tanaka in 2023.
