JAY-Z attended the grand opening of the new Fanatics Sportsbook store on the Boardwalk in Atlantic City, New Jersey, with Michael Rubin on Sunday. At the event, Jay helped Rubin cut the ribbon as Fanatics Betting and Gaming CEO Matt King and Ocean Casino Resort General Manager Bill Callahan cheered him on. Hough’s appearance at the opening ceremony comes as he continues to face social media backlash for helping select Kendrick Lamar over Lil Wayne to perform at Super Bowl LIX Strongly opposed.
When Roc Nation shared photos from the event on Instagram, one user commented: “People like Nikki are here talking about the Super Bowl show and Jay is here cutting the ribbon.” “Let this be a lesson to her and others. Start learning How to be an adult.” Another fan wrote: “When y’all talk about the Super Bowl halftime show…it’s on this level.”
