2026 is off to a great start with a new clip of Kendrick Lamar surfacing. Just a few weeks ago, the rapper was heard saying he “got one,” sparking speculation that new music could be coming soon. The speculation has only intensified with the news that a Drake project is coming.
Now, it seems like new music from Kendrick is indeed on the way, and Sounwave and Jack Antonoff decided to give fans a sneak peek.
In a video posted on Instagram, the two appear to be mixing/mastering, with Kendrick’s voice briefly heard. (Scroll to slide four!)
Now, it’s entirely up to Kendrick whether the song heard in the clip actually gets released. But of course, the rapper has been pretty elusive and silent on the matter. It could be meaningless or it could be the calm before the storm. What do you think?
