Drake has been relatively quiet the past few weeks. While the internet is still going crazy over the feud with Kendrick Lamar, things are starting to calm down in the public sector. That being said, I’ve heard some talk that Drake may have another issue related to a conflict with his West Coast rival.
Remember all the chatter surrounding his secret 11-year-old daughter? The daughter that Drake doesn’t have? Well, it’s hilarious to hear Drake discuss feeding this false, horrific information to Kendrick Lamar and his team. By the way, there has never been any evidence or confirmation that this is the case. But it’s neither here nor there. Regardless, when these images did appear, they featured real faces and a real young girl. I don’t know how true this is, but someone reached out and said they were very upset about Drake’s use of these images. It is speculated, but not confirmed, that the little girl’s mother was devastated. An intermediary, not the woman, said there could be legal consequences for using the image. This is just a rumor at the moment, but it could provide some insight into how far this thing might go.

I first heard the news a while ago, so there hasn’t been much movement since then. But I’m not so sure that’s going away, because the beef itself isn’t going away. In fact, many people still consider “Family Matters” to be the best song of all.
Meanwhile, 40 people allegedly threatened to slap DJ Cipha Sounds. In Toronto, the New York-based DJ decided to play “Not Like Us” during his DJ set. I don’t know how people took it, but it went back to an old friend of Drake’s who was also brutally treated in the Pusha T beef. He doesn’t like this! According to New York DJ, he made repeated threats, saying he was willing to attack him “on sight.” I’m not sure who they are, but I don’t think it’s that easy. Things seem to be getting a little testy in the world. Hopefully this continues to be a non-violent confrontation. But I think they need to address this violence with the perpetrators of said violence so that we understand who they are really upset with. Because of course they shouldn’t be angry at the DJ. I do think the feud with Kendrick Lamar will never end. It’s not going to be like Nas and Jay. There will be no reunion tours, collaborations or anything like that. This is the beef of a lifetime!
