Finesse2Tymes has always been committed to losing weight and staying healthy, although he now realizes that his physical and mental health requires a different effort.
The 31-year-old shared a series of videos on Instagram on Friday (May 24) to the song “Mixed Feelings” in which he can be seen working out, eating healthy and tracking his progress.
However, in the caption, he admitted that he was still feeling far from ideal.
“My weight loss journey is going great, thank you for all the prayers and the love from my fans and supporters,” the Memphis native wrote. “Physically I’m 100% better, mentally I’m not, I think I need to see a therapist, I’ve never paid anyone for advice.”
The Tennessee rapper has been trying to lose weight for a long time, and he admits it wasn’t as easy as he initially expected.
Earlier this month, the “Letters to the Devil” hitmaker revealed on social media that he had embarked on a 21-day fruit and water fast to kick off his fitness journey.
“This is my fourth time starting over,” he wrote in the post’s caption. “But you know the saying goes, fall down nine times, stand up ten times. I used to think money could solve everything until I had money and now I’m struggling with my mental, physical, spiritual journey, if you have a heart Pray for me, I’m at war with myself #Artofwar.
In April, NBA Youngboy slammed Finesse2Tymes after the “Get Even” rapper offered NBA Youngboy the chance to FaceTime his girlfriend for $250,000.
Finesse seemed to quickly rescind the offer, later writing on Instagram: “I’m joking, Ion is playing shugga, her loyalty is worth more than money if you know what we have been through in a short time. alright.
“The FBI made me complete tedious paperwork and they tried to get her to do a really bad investigation of me, but she wouldn’t do it and that’s why she was on the monitor.”
In a follow-up video, he claimed YoungBoy was “unhinged” and said he would not be dating the Baton Rouge rapper given his own experience with mental health issues.
Speaking about YB’s house arrest in Utah, he added: “The bottom line is, he’s been at home for two years. He’s basically in a luxury cell.
The Last Slimeto rapper wasn’t happy about this and he started targeting Finesse2Tymes online.
“You sound like a bitch that I kicked out, n-gga. I don’t want to hear any shit about mental health, kid,” he growled. “You know how that shit works out, you bastard.”
He then claimed that his partner made overtures to his wife and said, “You wrote my hoe. I ain’t gonna tell you that sucker while you played with my hoe, n-gga. I just posted yours Bitch! Then you come back to play with my wife.
“She’s not that bitch you pretended to be your pimp, n-gga. I don’t want to talk. I’m not your friend. That’s not who I am, you bitch.
He continued in another video: “Asshole n-gga writes me all the inspirational dumb quotes. All the time your asshole is trying to double back and stick something. You’re a hoe, man. I don’t Play like that. We’re real gangsters, man…I’m gonna take your bitch, n-gga!”
