Both Miami and Southside were influential, and their relationship was a roller coaster ride. Like most celebrity relationships, this one played out in full glare of the media. The former couple went from public displays of affection to welcoming a child to going their separate ways. However, even after their breakup, the two were seen together many times. Recently, Yung Miami and Southside were spotted together in Atlanta. This comes amid an ongoing bragging scandal. As a result, fans are curious about the nature of Yon Miami’s relationship with the mogul and Southside.

2018: Spark

Yung Miami and prolific record producer Southside began dating sometime in 2018. In the now-deleted video, she showed off the expensive gifts she received from her husband to her Instagram followers. She revealed that she “wandered around and fell in love.” While fans are happy for her, there’s no indication of who her man is. But they didn’t have to wait long. Under one of Southside’s Instagram photos, Yung Miami commented: “Mine.” This was enough to confirm that not long after, the couple was spotted on a tropical vacation.

December 18, 2018: Is it over yet?

Two weeks after their relationship became public, Southside announced he was no longer with Yon Miami. On December 18, Southside confirmed on Instagram Live that the two were no longer an item. “These rap hoes are really lame,” he said. “You feel yourself. Stop feeling yourself… No, I’m not holding that hoe anymore. I don’t like that hoe. I’m fine. I’m cool with it.

He went on a tirade and soon claimed that the City Girls rapper said she was single during an IG Live. He said, “No one would mind if you were single. Who cares? No one is going to marry you, honey. They see what you really look like without the wig, and they won’t want to sleep with you. Apparently, Southside was met with backlash for his hurtful comments, with many coming to Yon Miami’s defense, with fans commenting that Southside was simply overly emotional and expressed his displeasure in a surprisingly undignified manner. Yes, the couple reconciled and reunited a week later.

2019: Welcome baby summer

After reconciling, Southside and Yung Miami took public love to a whole new level. They often post photos and videos together to show off their affection. One of the biggest milestones in their relationship was the birth of their daughter, Summer Miami, in October 2019. Yung Miami posted a photo of the newborn sleeping next to Southside with the caption: “Miami in the summer. So happy and happy.

September 2020: Yung Miami and Southside announce exits

2020 was a challenging year for Miami and Southside, leading them to say a final goodbye to their relationship. At the time, there were already rumors that the couple had split, but the news was confirmed when Miami celebrated life as a single woman. She posted photos of her life after a yacht trip with friends. Yung Miami celebrated and toasted on Instagram Live with her daughters.

She didn’t give a reason for her breakup with Southside, leaving fans to speculate. The South, on the other hand, remained calm. After confirming his side of the split, he insisted he and Yon Miami are on good terms. “I don’t get angry about these things,” he said. “I’m a hunter. I didn’t want to come here and do it all. Come full circle, I go my way and she goes hers. I wish her the best.” The former couple continue to co-parent their daughter Summer, and show mutual respect and admiration and a commitment to providing a loving environment for their children.

2024: A new chapter?

In July 2023, Southside and Yung Miami were in the studio together, sparking rumors that they would be collaborating on some music. There’s no speculation as to whether the pair are back together, as Southside has previously commented that they are no longer close. Yung Miami was also in a relationship with Diddy from the previous year. However, the two were spotted clubbing together in January 2024.

Yung Miami unfollowed Diddy after a video of her insulting him in a hotel went viral. Hours later, she was spotted again with Southside in Atlanta, Georgia. They were taken by famous ATL photographer Prince A Williams. Although their time together wasn’t all roses, the former couple seemed to have found peace in each other’s company.
