Kid Rock has once again stirred up controversy over alleged bad behavior.

On Sunday (May 19), Rolling Stone published a report in which reporter David Peisner accused Rock of brandishing a gun and using racial slurs during the interview. The article details a tumultuous encounter between the musician and Pesner, as well as Rock’s increasingly erratic behavior, with Rock reportedly acting out during the incident.

According to Pesner, Locke drank several Jim Beam and Diet Coke cocktails before brandishing a handgun behind a leather chair.

“I’ve got a ###ing g###### gun right here if I need it… I’ve got it everywhere!” Locke allegedly yelled. Pisner also claimed that the “American Badass” musician also used the term multiple times when discussing politics and Republican history.

When asked about immigrants, Locke reportedly agreed, describing them as “not human beings” and further disparaging immigrants as perpetrators of violent crime.

“They’re murderers!” Locke allegedly said. “They are rapists! They are! MS-13! They just did the girl here! They just killed the girl in Nashville.

Rock also appeared to reference his involvement in Bud Light’s 2023 controversy after launching a campaign with transgender activist Dylan Mulvaney. In his rebuttal, he seemed to suggest his legacy might include shooting Bud Light cans. Despite previously boycotting Bud Light, he hinted that other companies would be targeted in the future.

“When people don’t have dogs in combat, I don’t want to hurt their jobs and things like that, but there are a lot of other companies we should be looking at,” he said.

The interview also touched on Kid Rock’s support for Donald Trump, during which he attempted to call Trump and described him as a “good friend” of his, despite the former president sending him to voicemail .

The interview reportedly became tense when Locke insisted that Pesner stay the night despite earlier derogatory remarks about the reporter’s college background and sexual orientation. Pesna Siad Locke called him a “college snowflake” and encouraged him to “write the most horrific article possible,” hoping it would breathe new life into his career. As of now, Kid Rock has not responded to a request for comment for the Rolling Stone article.

The Rolling Stone report is the latest in a series of incidents showcasing Rock’s controversial behavior. In 2019, he was widely criticized for drunkenly making racist comments about Oprah Winfrey and Joy Behar during a performance at a Nashville bar. The incident sparked a backlash and renewed scrutiny of his often inflammatory public rhetoric.

See the post above for additional excerpts from the interview.
