Joe Budden took to X Spaces on Saturday (May 18) to address fans who criticized him for removing an episode of his latest episode of The Joe Budden Podcast fragment. Apparently, on the episode of “Two Brands, One Stone,” Joe deleted a clip of him and his co-hosts discussing the shocking 2016 video that showed Diddy viciously attacking him at a Los Angeles hotel His then-girlfriend Cassie Ventura.
One fan noticed that the clip had been removed because someone forgot to remove the “Diddy” timestamp from the description when the podcast was originally uploaded.
Some fans have speculated that Joe’s reluctance to preserve footage from the Diddy film may stem from his own history of alleged domestic abuse.
“Joe Budden will never discuss Diddy and we all know why,” someone on X wrote.

Joe defends decision to edit podcast segment about Diddy attack video
Speaking on X Spaces, Joe Budden spoke about the choice to remove the clip, explaining that while the topic was important, he felt a four-minute discussion wasn’t enough to do it justice.
“We were on the show when the news broke,” Joe explains in the audio clip below. “So we talked about it for four minutes, and finally before ‘Sleeper’ [segment] We discussed it for another four minutes and then continued talking about our day.
But after talking to TJBP co-host Ꭼmanny, Joe changed his mind and cut the segment.
“It was insensitive at the time. It spent four minutes talking about what happened, and the last three minutes weren’t the focus the story needed,” Joe said. “We will work on solving this problem [Wednesday’s episode]”.
“I have absolutely zero contact with Diddy or anyone associated with Diddy,” the podcaster added. “Yesterday was the first time I’ve seen anything like this, and it was difficult to watch for a number of reasons.”
Joe Budden further explained that he is not afraid to discuss any topic on the show and that he has the right to remove parts that he feels should not be made public. The podcast king also advised disgruntled fans to stay away from social media and engage in real-life activities outside of the digital world.
