The viral feud between Drake and Kendrick Lamar has largely died down now, but despite this, its lasting impact on hip-hop remains a hot topic of debate. Amid this disaster, Gunnar released his fifth studio album, One Of Wun. Even though fans were mostly distracted by Drake and Kendrick’s feud at the time, it was received pretty well. Sales are expected to reach 60-65,000 albums in the first week. This is a slight step down from his last effort, The Gift and the Curse.
During a recent airport chat with TMZ, the hitmaker revealed whether he had considered delaying the release to avoid being overshadowed by all the drama. He said he had never thought about it. According to Gunna, he was so focused on his own efforts that he often ignored what else was going on in the field.

Guna said he was not considering delaying his release
“I just… you know how it was. Like, I didn’t even really see what else was going on,” he explained. “It’s hard to see.” Fans certainly can’t blame Gunnar for being distracted. In addition to releasing a new full-length project, he’s also just kicked off his “Bittersweet” tour, which is another daunting task in itself. He has also just announced the launch of a new clothing line, P By Gunna, which is scheduled to launch on June 5 this year.
Unfortunately, however, this announcement was not as well-received as his other projects. Last week, photos of his P By Gunna billboard in New York went viral, and an up-and-coming artist took to TikTok to accuse the rapper of stealing his logo. According to the artist, he has been building his brand for years. Guna has yet to respond to the accusations. What do you think of Gunna’s new album One Of Wun?
