James Wright Chanel, a backup singer for acclaimed artist Tamar Braxton, filed a lawsuit against Rock, alleging assault stemming from an altercation at a concert last November.
According to RadarOnline, the lawsuit was served in person while Rock was attending a local high school football game. Process servers were able to locate her based on a social media post in which she revealed her whereabouts at Cathedral High School in Los Angeles.
Chanel’s accusation details a disturbing incident backstage at a Braxton concert in which Rock, aka Christian Malone, allegedly physically assaulted him. The row allegedly broke out after Rock was denied the chance to perform music at the event.
