DJ Akademiks, Rick Ross and several other hip-hop figures took to social media Saturday night to react to Kendrick Lamar’s latest diss about Drake, “Not Like Us.” Akademiks was live streaming the song when it was released, and after hearing it he said, “Drake, you have to shoot him now, I’m sorry.” Rick Ross has been chatting with the Torontonian The feud started with the rapper sharing a video of himself at a pool party while the song was playing.
Denzel Curry praised the song on Twitter, commenting: “This man is ruthless,” while also comparing the level of hatred to Obi-Wan and Anakin in Star Wars . He further retweeted 4batz, who joked: “Yo @kendricklamar I just dropped my tape omg can I at least get 24 hours?” Reason from Lamar’s former imprint TDE Commented: “Yeah, you gotta leave some niggas alone.”

On “Not Like Us,” Lamar admires the work of DJ Mustard while shouting out several members of Drake’s OVO imprint and labeling the Toronto rapper himself a “pedophile.” He raps: “They told me Chubbs was the only one who got your old clothes/Party at the party, now playing with his nose/Baka’s got a weird case, why is he around?/Certified The song’s cover art shows a Google Maps view of Drake’s home covered in red pedophile markers.
