Never one to be shy about expressing his opinions, 50 Cent weighed in on Lil Uzi Vert’s outfit and performance at the Coachella music festival for the second time.
The G-Unit icon took to Instagram on Saturday (April 20) to share a screenshot of a website review depicting Uzi’s appearance. It read: “Lil Uzi city girl: on stage with his nails, paint and carrying wallet!”
50 wrote in his post: “There is something in the water [anguished face emoji] What made you do that, bro?

Fans were quick to comment on the puzzling fit. One user wrote: “He reminds me of him from The Powerpuff Girls. Do you remember that?”
Another simply said: “So weird.” A third concluded: “This guy is wearing a JT wallet outside.”
Uzi’s sartorial decision may have rubbed 50 Cent the wrong way, but his boos were quick to defend his choice.
Earlier this past Saturday (April 13), JT was quick to clarify fans who thought it was a good idea to come see Lil Uzi Vert perform during the first week of the Coachella music festival.
The rapper’s act went viral almost immediately, and while most fans appreciated his talent, there were some who were misinformed and mocked them for their performance.
“Wait, wait, Lil Uzi was fashionable last night,” one fan wrote. “He also pulled off the death drop! Now @ThegirlJT we need answers, mom.
“You actually need an edge,” the city girl replied. “Your obsession with someone you don’t have to deal with is so creepy! What does this mean to you? Why do skinheads need answers?
This isn’t the first time JT has defended her partner against online trolls.
Back in July, a Twitter post from a presumed troll made very snarky comments about the “Just Wanna Rock” rapper, who was not what one would call “traditionally handsome.” Apparently, a user named “Marie Hendrix” thought so too.
“Is this really JT?” she wrote, referencing a photo of Lil Uzi Vert, who actually uses “they/them” pronouns on Twitter.
Within minutes, JT responded. “Yes! & I’ll slap you in the mouth because of him!”
While JT and Lil Uzi Vert are a happy couple now, life wasn’t always this way for the two.
