When Mark Zuckerberg heard about his transformation into Jack Harlow and artificial intelligence, his reaction seemed to be a mixture of confusion and/or frustration.
Apparently, the tech stooges of Meta, Facebook, and Instagram aren’t feeling any of the #ZaddyZuck or #ZuckHarlow alter egos created by his likeness in the latest viral AI scandal. For those who may have missed it, AI-savvy trolls repurposed a screenshot of the video that Zucker originally posted on his official Instagram account and gave the screenshot a “Churchill Downs” treatment. Coincidentally, the original video was the announcement of the latest update to Meta AI.

Dishonest AI deepfake hit social media and spread like wildfire, with a tweet showing Zuckerberg before and after attracting more than 19 million viewers on Twitter (X). But Zuckerberg wasn’t interested — well, at least not like millions of social media users. His reaction in the comments section of his Instagram post, in which he shared a side-by-side comparison of the video juxtaposed with the AI-generated image, suggested he was fed up with social media’s lack of seriousness.
“Okay, who did this?” he wrote in the comments section of the post.
It’s hard to tell if Buddy was actually deeply disturbed by the whole incident, or if he was more disturbed – just curious as to why the person who did it actually did it. No Didi! In my humble opinion, I think Zach should just move on and let the internet do its thing and let nature take its course. Imagine if Zuckerberg and Harlow collaborated on a video using Meta AI, and then they abandoned the collaboration, and it became number one.
