Rihanna says she and A$AP Rocky are working on her new album and it has some hits coming soon!
Rihanna fans have been anticipating the follow-up to her 2016 album Anti, and while Rihanna has been working on the project for several years, it’s unclear when it will arrive.
Fans named the legendary album “R9” because it would be Rihanna’s ninth studio album. The superstar singer and business mogul has revealed few details about the project beyond teasing an experimental new sound.
However, in a recent red carpet interview, Rihanna revealed that she’s working on the project with her costar A$AP Rocky, and they’re making something “good.” However, things aren’t all plain sailing and the power couple are working hard to divvy up the clicks.
“I’ve found something that I think is going to be a hit,” RiRi revealed in an interview with ET. “Rocky and I really wanted to figure out who would use what,” she added. “Because it’s so good.”

While Rihanna is excited to share tidbits about the album, she’s staying tight-lipped about the release date. When asked when the album would arrive, Rihanna joked, “I wonder too.”
