It feels like fans have been waiting every night to see if Drake would drop his diss song in response to Kendrick Lamar’s “Like That,” which featured Kendrick’s most direct attack on Drake in a long time.
Earlier today, something surfaced online that caught people’s attention. It’s a Drake song called “Drop And Give Me 50,” and he’ll be singing it along with Kendrick Lamar, Rick Ross, Metro Boomin, The Weeknd, Cash, and many others. Of course, it’s 2024, so people immediately wonder if this is artificial intelligence. While some people swear it’s true, others think it’s a little too good to be true. The intonation and tone of the bars sound exactly like Drake’s, and the vocals just sound a little robotic, perhaps because the leaks aren’t of the highest quality.
If true, this is exactly the kind of song fans know Drake can write, with “Back To Back” and “Duppy Freestyle” already in his arsenal. The title of the song seems to refer to the fact that even though Kendrick has gone independent, Top Dawg still gets 50% of his income. He also mentioned Dot’s pop features with Maroon 5 and Taylor Swift, denied he was among the Big Three and boasted about his height, and made a series of comments about Ross, Metro Cash and more attack. There’s also a funny line where he mentions Kendrick’s wife’s name. We know how it went last time.
You can listen below and decide for yourself. I hope whether it is true or false, it will be confirmed as soon as possible.
