Lil Dicky was a guest on the New Heights podcast hosted by brothers Travis and Jason Kelce on Wednesday (April 10). In the interview (shown below), Lil Dicky weighed in on Taylor and Travis’ whirlwind relationship and its non-stop media coverage.
“Honestly, my opinion on this, if you want to spend time talking about it for the fifth thousandth time, but I just think there’s something that makes everyone feel like the world is a little bit like high school, where your favorite pop star is , like beloved musicians, somehow meet like your favorite beloved athlete. They actually fell in love,” the rapper says around the 1:17:00 mark of the video below.
“Like it’s real,” he continued. “Anyone who likes to hate it is like a sore loser. But I think a lot of people who probably expected to hate it actually liked it and they admitted they liked it because there was something very American about it or something. There was. Some things are like classics.”

Lil Dicky focuses on music
Lil Dicky is back to focusing on music after starring in the FX TV show Dave for three seasons. Back in February, FX released a statement saying the show would not be getting a fourth season.
“After much back-and-forth discussion, there are currently no plans for a fourth season of ‘Dave’ as Dave Bird has decided to take an extended break to focus on his music and other endeavors,” FX’s statement read. “This does not exclude the possibility of a fourth season.” The possibility of doing something in the future. We love the show and truly appreciate the creative excellence that Dave, Jeff Schaeffer, the cast and crew deliver in every episode.
