A$AP Rocky took a leaf out of Kendrick Lamar’s book and criticized Drake’s new Future and Metro Boomin albums, and it looks like The Weeknd doubled down on what some considered his support three weeks ago.
The Weeknd appears on several songs on the album, one of which is “All To Myself.” Fans noticed he took some pretty direct shots at Drake. He sang:
“They can never despise my brother, baby
when they develop leaks during operation
I thank God that I never gave up on my life
We never make big claims (no, no, no, no, no)
They are the shooters who make TikTok
Let’s have a laugh in the Lambo. “
He said he never signed a contract with his life, referring to signing with Warner Bros. and not OVO as some expected. Drake has addressed the issue, denying it was ever a source of tension between them. Fans believe the phrase “Shooter makes TikTok” is a reference to Baka’s TikTok, which you can see here.
