Rap Hall of Famer and Detroit legend Eminem puts on his producer hat once again, this time to follow his fans from around the world in a new documentary.
As previously announced, the as-yet-untitled documentary will focus on “stans” – a term originally coined by Eminem after the release of his third single, The Marshall Mathers LP, in 2000. Big fan.
In order to be a part of the documentary, Eminem fans must head here to fill out a questionnaire that will provide insight into the nature of the fandom surrounding the rapper. This questionnaire was designed to explore fans’ perceptions of Eminem’s legacy and the extent to which he has impacted fans’ personal life experiences.
From an in-depth look at fan-favorite songs and their connections to reflections and speculation on Eminem’s career hiatus in 2005, this questionnaire appears to be a comprehensive survey of understanding “stans.” The best part? The form allows fans to submit videos of themselves talking about Eminem and the role he plays in their lives, with the promise of potential features in the final cut.
