Ice-T and Ice Spice both have explanations for the cause of the rare earthquake that hit New York recently, and their responses likely won’t come as a shock to their fans.
If you haven’t heard, a 4.8 magnitude earthquake hit New Jersey on April 5, shaking neighboring New York City as well. According to Encyclopedia Britannica, an earthquake is “a sudden shaking of the ground caused by seismic waves traveling through the Earth’s rocks.”
Additionally, the cause of earthquakes is described as “seismic waves produced when some form of energy stored in the crust is suddenly released, typically when large masses of rock pressed against each other suddenly fracture and ‘slip’.”
But literally, fuck it all! According to Ice-T, there is a more practical and rigorous explanation for #2024JerzQuake.
“Attention,” he wrote in a tweet reposted to Instagram. “That’s not an earthquake in New Jersey…I just like a little morning sex every now and then…everyone relax and get back to normal. My bad,” Ludacris replied in the comments with “Bruh.”

I don’t know what’s more out of pocket, that Ice-T is still bragging about morning sex at age 66, or that he’s insinuating that he’s slapping his wife, Coco, 45, on the cheek hard enough to cause seismic waves that could cause an earthquake. Not to mention whether Coco’s statement about taking a bath once a week is true. Man, it’s okay!
In another vulgar tweet, Ice Spice detailed the cause of the earthquake, writing: “I’m bad at earthquakes, you know it’s going to be bad.”
However, at the same time, I must say that I don’t hate Ice Spice as much as Ice-T does, and that would probably get me cancelled. But I’m not going to sit here and pretend I didn’t see her perform in a Betty Boop costume at the iHeart Powerhouse 105.1 concert last year. Because she really shocked the world at the time, it makes her explanation seem more believable.
