Eminem is celebrating April Fools’ Day by pranking his fans by releasing a mock album. On Monday (April 1), Slim Shady shared a ridiculous trailer for the follow-up to his debut album, Infinite .
“The highly anticipated next studio album returns to where it all began,” the trailer’s voiceover declares. “Infinite, but even more infinite now. Out today.”
Although it was obviously a joke, some fans admitted that Eminem fooled them. The trailer received over 2 million views on X (formerly Twitter).

Eminem has teased his fans, but they probably won’t have to wait too long for a new album. Dr. Dre claimed his longtime collaborator will release an album in March 2024 during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
“Let me tell you something, let me explain something to you right now: Eminem is working on his own album, which is going to be released this year,” Dr. Dre said. “I actually talked to him and he said I could announce it on this show. So, he has an album coming out. I have songs on it and it’s a hit.
Eminem has not released an album since 2020’s “Music to Be Murdered By.” The project debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart.
Slim Shady’s latest song release is titled “Doomsday Pt.” 2”, arriving in January. The track once again sparked his bitter feud with Benzino.
“What’s the opposite of Benzino? A giraffe/Go and bite his neck, what the hell is going on?/How can I bite something he doesn’t have/The arms are so short he can’t even touch his hands/When they While doing jumping jacks above his head/I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to upset you, Ben/When I talk about all the debt you’ve got/I hear you’ve been lowballing/Before they catch you cheap In the hotel,” Eminem raps.
Benzino responded with two diss songs: “Vulturius” and “Rap Elvis.” After dropping these songs, he declared himself the “Eminem Killer.”
