Kanye West isn’t taking anyone’s side in Drake and Kendrick Lamar’s feud. Ye took to Instagram on Thursday (March 28) to attack the two rappers.
“Everyone knows I’m no longer partying Kendrick in LA,” Kanye wrote. “Everyone knows I gave Drake a bath at the free Hoover concert.”
Ye calls himself the greatest of all time and lists a number of accomplishments and musical compositions on his resume. He boasted about surviving the “cancellation” of Adidas severing ties with him.
“Everyone knows I brought Adidas into this culture and took them out,” he wrote. “Everyone knows that DEMNA VIRGIL JERRY KIM has worked for me. I made the YEEZUS Dark Fantasy Pablo Graduation Throne 808S. I did the Runaway Devil Father stretch in my new clothes. I was the only one who came back after cancellation One person. Only one goat. I have my back. My friends call me “you guys.”
A week after Kendrick sparked a long-simmering feud with Drake, Kanye went on a social media rant. On “Future,” K. Dot took issue with Drake and Metro Boomin’s song “Like That,” which appeared on the pair’s We Don’t Trust You album.
“F### sneak diss, first-person shooter, I wish they had three switches/I broke down, like, ‘F### rap, ‘diss Melle Mel if I had to/With 2TEEZ, I’m grabbing the chains and Burning tattoo, it’s all over/Lost too many soldiers, it’s not safe/It’s not Andre 3K if he walks around with that stick/You think I won’t give up this spot? I still Suffering from PTSD/M########## Big Three, n####, that’s me,” Kendrick raps.
He added, “Your best work is the light pack/N####, Prince outlived Mike Jack/N####, the bum/because all your dogs are buried/ That’s a king with all those nines, and he’ll see Pet Sematary.”
