Birdman and Mannie Fresh reunited as the Big Tymers, but only for one night to celebrate a very special birthday.
Fresh immediately released a video from Saturday’s (March 23) event, revealing that Juvenile also joined in on the fun for a few songs at the Met nightclub. The show was the crown jewel of Manny’s weekend birthday celebrations.
“@birdman @juviethegreat we do this!! Who’s ready?” he wrote in one post.In another letter, he wrote: “When the band got back together we created [sic] history! “

The DJ, producer and rapper turned 55 on March 20.
The Big Tymers show is far from the only party in town Manny has attended recently. He headlined several events at Wreckless Weekend in New Orleans, including a day party and a performance with Bun B. But the biggest event so far was his performance with Birdman as Big Tymers.
The Mannie and Cash Money label-head duo haven’t released an album since 2003 and haven’t put out new music since a single in 2018.
Tickets for their reunion show start at $30 and go up to $2,500 (plus fees, taxes, gratuities and mandatory bottled beverages) for a 15-person VIP package (excluding Platinum Football Stadium).
“We’re shutting down the whole town,” Barbey promised, sitting next to his longtime collaborator, during a video announcement of the concert.
Big Tymers may not be the only Cash Money band to get back together. The Hot Boys have been teasing a similar reunion in 2024.
While no gigs have been announced yet, one member of the quartet, Juvenile, believes a reunion will happen.
The “Back That Azz Up” rapper sat down with TMZ earlier this month to share exclusive news about the long-awaited reunion, now that band member BG is out of prison.
“I don’t have any negativity, man,” he said. “You know, for me, I always think, ‘This is going to happen.’ This is going to happen. We’ve got to slow them down a little bit. But trust me, it’s happening.”
Juvie’s comments about toning down were a nod to the feud between BG and Lil Wayne.
