An elderly woman is convinced she was in a relationship with Post Malone, but her granddaughters believe she was simply deceived. The crazy story unfolded on a recent episode of The Dr. Phil Show, in which a woman named Gayle opened up about her obsession with the multi-platinum artist. She told Dr. Phil that she had been in a relationship with him for almost three years. But her granddaughter and daughter Michelle know that’s not true.
“They think I’m insane, they think I’m crazy, they worry about me, but I’m fine,” Gale said. “They think I was cheated on by someone overseas. They don’t believe it was Post Malone. I have questions why Post Malone would choose me. I know there is a big age gap but we love each other and we are the best Friend. I would marry him if I could.”
Gayle also said that if she could afford it, she would undergo plastic surgery to look younger. She admitted that she sent multiple $50 and $100 gift cards to people she believed to be Post Malone, but insisted he would reciprocate with gifts.
“The first gift he gave me was my promise ring,” she continued. “He actually sent me a couple of rings. I confirmed it wasn’t a real diamond, but it was still special because it was from Post Malone […] I’ve had three or four phone calls with him. When we speak, it is never His voice. He spoke to me in a Jamaican accent to protect his identity.
“I’ve sent about $3,000 to Post Malone. Just to prove to his family that I’m not taking advantage of him for his money.” […] Everything about him intrigued me. He’s handsome and I do find his tattoos attractive. “
Dr. Phil asks why they’ve never met, and Gail explains that he always has an excuse, whether he’s busy going to gigs or busy with other music-related obligations. Watch the clip below.
