Kendrick Lamar takes issue with Drake and J. Cole in new verse about Future and Metro Boomin’s latest project.

The Atlanta rapper and his longtime producer dropped their collaborative album We Don’t Trust You on Friday (March 22), which includes a song called “Like That,” which features Kendrick’s surprise performance.

The former TDE rapper, who featured heavily in his lyrics, first referenced Drizzy and Cole’s first single “First Person Shooter” and accused it of being “sneaky libelous.”

“Yeah, get up with me/Fucking sneaky laughs, first-person shooters/I wish they had three switches,” he raps.

Kendrick Lamar then directly referenced the “Big Three,” commonly known as himself, Drake, and J. Cole, claiming that he was the only one at the top of the rap chain.

“You think I’m not gonna give up on this location? I still have PTSD/F— Big Three, n-gga, that’s who I am,” he spits.

K. Dot ended by citing Drake’s 2023 album “For All the Dogs” and Stephen King’s 1983 novel “Pet Sematary.”

“N-gga, bum, before all your dogs are buried/It’s a K with all these nines, he’ll see the pet cemetery,” he raps.

J. Cole mentioned Kendrick Lamar’s name and the “Big Three” in October’s FPS, but took the crown by comparing himself to the late great Muhammad Ali.

“Like they argue the hardest MC/Is it K-Dot? Is it Aubrey? Or me?/Us three like we started a league, but now, I feel like Muhammad Ali,” he raps.

Drake, on the other hand, told Kendrick that only he and Cole hold the title of “Greatest of All Time.”

“Who’s the GOAT? Who the hell are you rooting for? / Like a kid who doesn’t behave from January to November, n-gga, it’s just you and Cole,” he said.

“We Don’t Trust You” was released on Epic Records and also features uncredited guest appearances from Travis Scott, Playboi Carti, The Weeknd and Rick Ross.

The album contains 17 songs and is named after Metro Boomin’s famous slogan “If young Metro doesn’t trust you, I’ll shoot you” (Future said).
