Spring is officially here and it’s time to ring in the new season with some new tunes. This week, an acclaimed rapper and producer duo returns with a highly anticipated new album, a talented lyricist returns with some new music, and another TDE R&B singer drops a new Projects and more.

Future and Metro Boom are back and we don’t believe you

The “Mask Off” duo of Metro Boomin and Future are finally back with a new album, “We Don’t Trust You.”

The album has generated a lot of hype since Future and Metro released a cryptic trailer in early March, confirming the album’s title and indicating it would be released in two parts. The first volume of “We Don’t Trust You” contains 17 nondescript songs. Volume 2 will be released on April 12th.

Joyner Lucas Releases ‘Not That I’m So Busy Now’ Album

Joyner Lucas’ second album Not Now I’m Busy is finally out. Nearly four years after the release of his debut LP ADHD , the all-consuming lyricist’s latest album features 17 songs and features guest appearances from the late DMX, YoungBoy Never Broke Again, Logic, Conway The Machine Waiting for songs. Joyner will promote the album on the Not Now I’m Busy Tour, which begins May 11.

SiR and Heavy return after five years of partnership

SiR, another R&B singer from Top Dawg Entertainment, is finally back with a new album, Heavy. It’s been five years since the Inglewood, Calif., singer last released a full-length album, 2019’s Chasing Summer. SiR made a surprise return with single “Satisfaction” in May 2022, followed by “Life Is Good” with Scribz Riley in July and “Nothing Even Matters” in September. By 2024, he announced it was all part of an elaborate rollout, with No Evil and Karma released in January and February.
