Kid Cudi may be stirring up trouble with his longtime partner Kanye West following their recent reconciliation and the Vultures 1 rapper’s new interview.
On Friday (March 15), Cudi appeared to respond to the claims made by West in a new interview with Big Boy , in which West detailed how he believes he has spent the last two decades Various musical styles were invented.
In his brief comments, the INSANO lyricist cited a Wikipedia article about the origins of West’s 808s & Heartbreak album, which West called an industry-changing album. Although he didn’t compose any text in the tweet, other than covering his mouth with a smiley face emoji, Kid Cudi did share a screenshot of a portion of Wikipedia that cited him as one of West’s main inspirations for the album .
“Kid Cudi’s voice inspired Kanye West to create the cathartic 808s & Heartbreak (2008), with West later stating that he and Cudi were “the originators of the style, kind of like Alexander McQueen was to fashion,” reads the Wiki post . . “‘The others are Zara and H&M. ‘”

Again, while there’s no other indication as to why Cudi shared the tweet, it’s simply a response to West’s claims of responsibility for the careers of artists like The Weeknd, Drake, Future, and Young Thug.
“Every style of music in the last 20 years was invented by me, I created the genre. I created the genre of Weeknd, Trav, Drake… I will say it with all the love, Future and Thug too So, because this Auto-Tune album, if you think about it,” Kanye West said to Big Boy.
