CrasH Talk is a great album, but ScHoolboy Q clearly set the bar incredibly high on his previous effort, Blank Face LP. The reaction to his last album wasn’t as enthusiastic as his others, but he made it clear he was aware of the criticism and seemed to take it in stride.
Nearly five years later, the TDE rapper returns with his sixth solo studio effort, Blue Lips . Promotion for the event has been interesting since its release. Q has released parts of the song and music video online, but has not yet released a full song or single in the more traditional sense.
Also appearing on the new album are TDE members Lance Skiiiwalker and Ab-Soul, as well as external guests such as Freddie Gibbs and Childish Major.
