Erykah Badu and The Alchemist have officially locked in the release date for their highly anticipated upcoming album today, August 14, 2026, rolling it out alongside a new single titled Witch Doctor. The album Abi and Alan drops September 12 with 14 tracks via Alchemists ALC Records.
Witch Doctor premiered on Apple Music 1 this morning with a psychedelic video shot in Dallas. The track samples a 1970s soul flip with Badus signature spoken word over Alchemists dusty drums. Features confirmed include Jay Electronica, Vince Staples, and Baby Keem. The duo announced the date on The Breakfast Club after years of teasing since 2022.
