Boosie Badazz is in legal trouble, with a security guard suing him over a hookah incident at a Houston nightclub and the FBI threatening to put him on probation.
Boosie Badazz’s legal troubles are piling up faster than he’s releasing music, and the latest court woes just landed on his doorstep, courtesy of a security guard who claims he was seriously injured.
Edward Iglehart II is taking the Louisiana rapper to court over a May 24, 2026, incident at the Dome nightclub in Houston, where he claims Boosie smashed his head with a glass hookah, causing him to bleed and be hospitalized.
The civil lawsuit marks another layer of trouble for the artist, who is already fighting federal prosecutors who want to jail him again, dealing with a failed Trump pardon plan that cost him $600,000 and fighting multiple legal fronts at the same time.
According to TMZ, this is what happened at the nightclub.

Iglehart was working as a VIP security guard when a woman on Busey’s team asked to use the restricted restroom area near closing time.
When Iglehart tried to direct her toward another guard, the woman allegedly began berating him and throwing punches.
He grabbed her and wanted to send her out. She fell and when he reached down to help her up, he said he was hit by something heavy.
Iglehart claimed Busey was standing over him holding a broken hookah base, and the impact caused him to bleed and be taken to the hospital.
He is suing Busey for alleged assault, battery and defamation for false statements he made about him on social media.
Busey’s attorney, Carl Moore, countered that his client was simply defending his female relative, whom the club owner identified as his niece, and trying to de-escalate the situation.
But the damage has been done. Bussey was arrested in June 2026 on an aggravated assault charge and posted an $85,000 bond, and now federal probation supervisors are moving to revoke his supervised release entirely.
This is where it gets really serious for him.
Back in January 2026, Busey got a break when a federal judge sentenced him to probation on gun possession charges stemming from a 2023 arrest in San Diego.
Instead of jail time, he received three years of supervised release, three hundred hours of community service and a $50,000 fine.
Supervised release is now on hold because of the Houston incident, meaning prosecutors are essentially saying the hookah incident violated the terms of his freedom.
If they succeed in getting the bill repealed, Bussey could be looking at actual jail time.
The legal nightmare becomes even more complicated when you factor in his failed pardon gamble.
In 2025, Busey paid $600,000 to political figures Jacob Wohl and Jack Burkman, believing they had connections to obtain presidential pardons from Donald Trump.
The pardon never materialized, and now Busey is in arbitration, trying to recover $300,000 under the terms of his contract, which allegedly requires a refund if the pardon doesn’t go through.
Berkman’s team challenged the existence of the refund agreement, leaving Busey fighting on multiple fronts with his money, freedom and reputation at stake.
His court date on the aggravated assault charge is set for September 2026.
