Lato shocked the industry by claiming that Big Mama was her retirement project, and while that may indeed be true from a “new music release” perspective, that doesn’t mean she’s taking a back seat. The rapper just teamed up with Doja Cat to release the music video for “Okayyy” from her aforementioned album, and then she broke some big news.
For those unfamiliar, Doja Cat will be embarking on a world tour this fall called the “Tour Ma Vie World Tour.” As part of this effort, Doja will tour 31 cities in North America, accompanied by special guest Latto. The North American leg will begin on Thursday, October 1, at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit and conclude on Tuesday, December 1, at Madison Square Garden in New York.
The news comes via a cute video shot by Doja Cat, who walks up to Latto with a portable video camera and invites her to join her on a tour bus across North America.
The two artists also intentionally interjected “Okayyy” in response to each other and shouted out the just-released new music video. Check it out below!
