Cardi B and Nigerian football star Maduka Okoye have been spotted together multiple times this month, sparking romance rumors.
The pair were spotted having dinner with a few friends in Italy on Saturday (July 18), having previously attended a Paris Fashion Week show together earlier this month. They were also spotted chatting on the balcony after the show.
Cardi recently split from football star Stefon Diggs, the father of her youngest son, while Maduka also split from Jelicia Westhoff, the mother of his three-year-old son. Amid Cardi’s rumors, Jellicia lashed out at him on social media, accusing him of being a deadbeat father who was unfaithful and physically abusive to her.
In a statement to Page Six, Jellicia said she had “nothing against” Cardi, but “this is about you dating any woman in public because you know you’re not taking care of your kids.”
Meanwhile, fans on social media seemed excited about the potential romance.
“I’m happy for her. It’s time to try a different type of man,” one person wrote. “He’s so good, Cady better have this baby,” said another.
Another fan was also interested, but she just hoped Cardi, who welcomed daughter Blossom with Offset in 2024 and son with Diggs a year later, wouldn’t have another child so soon.
“She should have a great time, but sister, I don’t want you to get pregnant again,” they said.
