Severe thunderstorms, fires and sweltering heat disrupted a massive Fourth of July celebration for Donald Trump, Will Smith, Christina Aguilera and The Roots.
Donald Trump wanted to mark America’s 250th birthday with “The Greatest Show,” but it all went awry on Saturday night.
Mother Nature has other plans for America’s 250th birthday. Or God. universe!
What was supposed to be a coast-to-coast Independence Day celebration quickly turned into a series of weather emergencies, evacuations and mishaps that disrupted some of the nation’s biggest events. These include appearances from President Donald Trump, Will Smith, State Property, Meek Mill, Christina Aguilera and The Roots. This is a wrong scroll. Let’s go through them one by one. (Read it from cover to cover.)
In Washington, D.C., thousands of people packed the National Mall for President Donald Trump’s much-anticipated celebration of America’s 250th anniversary. But as ominous clouds descended over the capital, officials ordered spectators to evacuate over fears of severe thunderstorms.

Many in the crowd were reluctant to leave after waiting hours to get through security. Some booed as members of the U.S. Secret Service urged them to leave, while others, possibly Proud Boys, chanted “USA!” and “We want Trump!” The military overpass was even canceled as lightning and heavy rain moved into the area.

The weather had already wreaked havoc earlier in the day. The Independence Day parade in Washington was canceled due to dangerous heat, with reports that dozens of people were being treated for heat-related illnesses before the storm further complicated evening celebrations.
Philadelphia faces similar challenges.
The city’s Independence Day parade has been canceled due to the intense heat. Then, as thousands gathered on Benjamin Franklin Parkway for “One Philadelphia: An American Unity Concert,” severe thunderstorms forced organizers to suspend the show.
Attendees were directed to seek shelter while city officials monitored the weather. The concert featured performances from hometown favorites Will Smith, Christina Aguilera, The Roots and several other artists. Organizers say performances will only resume when conditions are safe.
Meanwhile, New York City’s iconic Macy’s Fourth of July fireworks display delivered one of the most shocking moments of the night.

As fireworks blast off from the Brooklyn Bridge over the East River, parts of the historic bridge burst into flames. Videos shared on social media showed thick smoke billowing from various parts of the bridge as fireworks continued to explode overhead. they felt it
“At first I thought this was supposed to happen, but then I was afraid it was going to explode. I thought the bridge was made of wood, so I was scared,” Neil Linkula told the New York Post. “There were four fireworks at the same time. Some additional fireworks exploded due to the fire.”
Organizers also canceled the sold-out VIP viewing experience on New York’s Governors Island due to weather conditions. High winds actually damaged the site.
There is another one:
On July 4, 2012, 7,000 fireworks were accidentally set off simultaneously in San Diego, California.
Due to a computer glitch, the scheduled 17-minute performance only lasted 30 seconds.
This is one of the greatest fireworks displays of all time

The irony is so crazy.
From Washington to Philadelphia to New York City and as far west as San Diego, America’s landmark birthday celebrations are a reminder that there is a higher power with a sense of humor.
America’s 250th Independence Day will be remembered as a dystopian experience rather than a flawless national party that included thunder, lightning, scorching temperatures, evacuations, out-of-control fireworks and the burning of one of America’s most famous bridges. There are others.
It looks like the weather will be bad in most parts of the country today. I’m in Phoenix and it’s cloudy.
