The FBI confirms Big30 is behind new photos of Gucci Mane being robbed and kidnapped.
On Wednesday (June 24), U.S. Attorney Ryan Raybould filed a motion in response to a bail request from Vinnie’s new lawyer. The 25-page document contains several new details about the case, including photos from the crime film. New documents confirm that Big30, whose real name is Rodney Wright Jr., recorded portions of the alleged incident on his cellphone at Vinnie’s request.
“Not content with just getting a written termination of the contract, [Pooh Shiesty] announced that he wanted to film “RD” and [Big30] New documents claim RD recorded “Pooh Shiesty exiting 1017” on his phone.
One of the photos showed co-defendant Demarcus Glover, who was recognized by RD in the photo, standing next to Gucci, holding a Drako.
Pooh Shiesty, his father, Big30 and six others face federal robbery and kidnapping charges in connection with the incident. Investigators said Vinnie invited Gooch to a Dallas recording studio on Jan. 10 and threatened Goowop at gunpoint to sign a contract release form, then robbed him and the people he was with. Big30 and Pooh Shiesty’s father has been released on bail. The trial is scheduled to begin next February.
