Drake, Sexyy Red and Travis Scott paid tribute to Tay Keith following his death last week.
Reactions to Ty Keith’s death have been pouring in on social media. On Friday (June 19), three artists with whom Tai had some of his most important collaborations spoke out about his death.
“BLOOD IN BLOOD OUT,” Sexyy captioned a photo of her and Tay Keith. “We are brothers but not blood related I love you BRUDDAAA @taykeith still the best duo we have in 5LIFE.”
Drake also shared a post on IG honoring the late Memphis producer, writing, “Endless and eternal gratitude for your spirit and your contribution to something we all loved so much… You will be deeply missed.”
La Flame posted this thread on his Instagram Story: “We will miss you broozayy. Keep up the good work for you…!!!”
Tay Keith frequently collaborates with Drizzy, Sexyy and Travis. Tay is the co-writer of Travis Scott’s Diamond song “Sicko Mode” and the producer of Drake’s “Nonstop,” Sexyy Red’s “Pound Town” and many others. Unfortunately, police found Ty Keith dead in his home in Nashville, Tennessee. June 18th. His cause of death has not yet been released. However, police do not suspect foul play.
On June 19, Tay Keith’s family released a statement regarding his tragic death.
“BryTavious was a beloved son, brother, uncle, family member and friend. While the world knew him as Tay Keith, his family knew him as BryTavious – a source of love, strength, laughter and guidance,” the statement read in part.
“We take comfort in knowing that his legacy will live on through the music he created, the opportunities he provided and the lives he touched. We respectfully ask for his privacy during this difficult time and continue to pray for his family and loved ones. Memorial arrangements will be announced at a later date.”
