Drake’s Iceman single “Janice STFU” debuts at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, breaking Michael Jackson’s record for the most No. 1 singles by a male artist.
Official first-week numbers for the album and songs released last week have been announced. And, as expected, Drake dominates the charts. Following the announcement on Sunday (May 24) that “Iceman”, “Habibiti” and “Maid of Honor” ranked first, second and third on the Billboard 200 chart respectively, the latest Billboard Hot 100 chart was announced on Tuesday (May 26), with “Janice STFU” at the top. This is Drake’s 14th No. 1 single, breaking a tie with Michael Jackson (13th).
Drake’s other songs in the top 10 this week include “Ran to Atlanta” (No. 2) featuring Future and Molly Santana, “Whisper My Name” (No. 3), “Shabang” (No. 4), “National Treasures” (No. 6), “Make Them Cry” (No. 7) and “Make They Pay (No. 10).”
Drake has a record 42 songs on the Billboard Hot 100 chart this week. Drizzy also increased his number of top 10 songs to 90, setting another record.
Drake foreshadowed his move beyond Michael Jordan with his Iceman album cover, which featured the rapper wearing one of Jackson’s famously autographed, crystal-encrusted gloves. Aubrey reportedly purchased the gloves in 2023, paying $123,000 for the gloves to be worn at the concert.
