The AI video of Rich Home Quan’s new song “Still Dead” has sparked heated discussions among fans.
On Friday (May 22), RHQ’s estate released a video for the song, which was inspired by PnB Rock’s death. The new visuals, created entirely by artificial intelligence, show the rapper walking through a cemetery, interacting with children, rapping in the studio, and more. What was supposed to be a new-age tribute to the rapper instead left his supporters distraught.
“You can all give music to the dead [without] AI haha this makes me sad [for real],” one person commented.
“This is disgusting,” another chimed in. “Let him rest.”
Not everyone feels a certain way about the footage.
“He has young children,” someone else tweeted. “As long as his estate is authorized and his family gets paid. He’s probably the breadwinner.”
Rich Homie Quan died in September 2024 from an accidental drug overdose. Since his death, two posthumous projects have been released, including 2024’s Forever Going In and 2025’s Legacy of Hits, a compilation project featuring the rapper’s biggest hits like “Type of Way,” “Flex (Ooh, Ooh, Ooh),” which featured “Problem Thru.”
