Lato may have given birth to her first child after she appeared in a Mother’s Day video message.
On Wednesday (May 13), Latto appeared in an Instagram video from her Win Some Give Some Foundation to pay tribute to all the moms who attended her first-ever Big Mom Day celebration in honor of Mother’s Day.
In the video below, the Atlanta rapper sits in a rocking chair and apologizes for missing the May 9 event because she was “a little busy,” adding that it was also her “first Mother’s Day.” At one point, a baby’s noises were heard in the background, leading fans to speculate that Lato had given birth to her first child. Additionally, Cadence, 27, filmed the video from the neck up, which is unusual.
“Am I the only one hearing the baby’s voice?” wrote one curious fan who listened carefully to the video.
Another commented: “You’re wobbly like you gave birth to a big mama…I know I didn’t trip, the baby made a noise when she said the incident!”
A third chimed in: “She was sitting in her rocking chair and sounded exhausted, she must have given birth.”
XXL has reached out to representatives for Latto for comment.
Latto announced her pregnancy in March 2026 through the music video for “Business & Personal (Intro)”. The visual also features 21 Savage, who is rumored to be the child’s father. Although he does not appear in the film, his hands are seen holding Lato’s belly in several scenes.
Last week, Latto revealed that her Big Mama project, which will be released on May 29, will be her retirement album.
