New photos of Pooh Shiesty have surfaced.
On April 17, Pooh Shiesty was booked into the Kaufman County Jail in Texas, where he will await trial for kidnapping and conspiracy to kidnap in connection with the alleged robbery of Gucci Mane in January. Vinnie, whose real name was Lontrell Williams Jr., was rejected on April 8.
Pooh, his father, Big30 and six other men have been arrested and accused of luring Gucci Mane to a Dallas recording studio, robbing him and threatening him at gunpoint to sign a contract release form. After Vinnie’s bail hearing failed, his attorney Bradford Cohen gave his thoughts on the case to the media.
“It took three months to build the case,” Cohen said. “I think it’s because the statements made on the night of the incident are very questionable.”
“I think the way those statements were made, what was said, what was allegedly witnessed and what was not witnessed gave the FBI a huge amount of hesitation,” Cohen continued. “If the FBI believed what happened that night, they wouldn’t have needed three months to arrest someone.”
On April 10, Gucci Mane broke his silence on the alleged incident in his song “Crash Dummy,” in which he sings: “Honestly, you go out like a real crash dummy/After all, boy, you still sign me/I’m like Birdman, that’s my cash money,”
The song drew mixed reviews online, with many criticizing Gurwoop for speaking out about the incident and cooperating with the police investigation.
