A Connecticut man purchased a Cardi B resale ticket on StubHub, but was shocked to find out he was the victim of a scammer when he arrived. Here’s what happened and how Cardi’s team rectified the situation.
TikTok founder Calvin Losacano (@calvngaming) is a stylist and influencer from Connecticut.
“I want to talk about something that happened to me at the Cardi B concert tonight,” he says at the beginning of the video. “I think it’s in no way reflective of Cardi B. I think it’s more reflective of the venue, the venue staff and the ticket seller.”
What happened to this Connecticut Cardi B fan?
According to Lozacano, he purchased the resale tickets on StubHub. However, when he tried to transfer it to AXS, the ticketing platform used by the venue, the service showed that his tickets were no longer available.
Lozacano said he spoke with the ticket office for more than an hour trying to resolve the issue. He eventually learned that the original ticket purchaser had used a stolen credit card number to purchase the tickets, and the entire order was canceled.
“So I called StubHub,” he said. “They gave me a seat in the last row. Mind you, I had a floor seat in row E. After speaking with the lady on the phone… she said ‘fine,’ and she gave me my original ticket.”
Lozacano passed the security check and signed the ticket, which was indeed valid. “I entered the venue,” he said.
However, the experience doesn’t get better from there. As Lozacano took his seat, he said a group of crew members expressed doubts about him.

To make things even more awkward, Losacano said everyone approached him asking to see his tickets, which he found in his email. He said he tried to explain why a nearby woman had the same seat on the ticket, but he said his attempts were ignored.
Lozacano said that about 30 minutes into the show, security asked him to leave. “At that point, I had no choice. Either leave or get dragged out by security. When I left, all these people were laughing,” he said.
He added, “I’m just disappointed in Stubhub and the employees that this behavior was tolerated.”
In a follow-up clip, Losacano thanked viewers for making the original video go viral and revealed that Cardi B’s team had offered Losacano tickets to another show. That’s how he arrived at the Philadelphia tour stop.
“This show is absolutely phenomenal,” he said. “It was everything I wanted from a concert for the first time.”
After the show, Lozacano said he even spent some personal time with Cardi during the VIP meet-and-greet. Cady told him she saw the video and directed her team to handle the situation.

In the comments section of the video, viewers expressed outrage over Loza Cano’s initial experience and praised Cardi B and her team for their efforts to right the wrong.
