Cardi B is going after Tasha K for repeatedly violating her settlement agreement over Offset and Stefon Diggs.
Cardi B is taking legal action to stop what she says is a relentless campaign of harassment by blogger Tasha K, who continues to violate the terms of the settlement agreement by discussing her personal relationships on social media and podcasts.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, the rapper claims Tasha has been conducting an elaborate campaign targeting her and her family through coded comments designed to appeal to her millions of fans.
Each time Cardi’s legal team issued a cease and desist, Tasha would delete the offending post and immediately upload new content, creating an exhausting cycle that the rapper grew tired of.
The core issue here is that Tasha owes Cardi $4 million in a 2022 defamation settlement, and she is expected to abide by a nondisclosure agreement as part of the bankruptcy plan they agreed to.
Instead, Cady has claimed at least 25 separate violations. Tasha has frequently posted about Offset, including comments this week after he was shot at a Florida casino.
She also went on the podcast to discuss Cardi’s past relationship with Stefon Diggs, which was in direct violation of their agreement.
What sets this show apart from typical celebrity dramas is the legal precision behind it. Cardi didn’t just ask the judge to tell Tasha to stop.
She asked for sanctions for every future breach, essentially asking the court to follow her example and impose financial penalties every time she breached the confidentiality agreement.
She also wants an immediate court order banning Tasha from mentioning her, Offset or any of her family members on any platform.
The rapper is basically saying that this cat-and-mouse game needs to end for good, and she’s willing to let the courts enforce it.
Tasha has been in financial trouble since losing her initial defamation case, filing for bankruptcy and struggling to meet payment obligations.
She was asked to take a financial exam and even started a GoFundMe to help pay off the money she owed.
The latest court filings suggest Cardi’s patience is running out and she’s ready to use every legal tool at her disposal to enforce the terms of the settlement.
