Meek Mill claims Philly rapper Charlamagne has never recovered from his beef with Drake, and he’s firing back at God.
Charlamagne isn’t backing down from his recent comments about Meek Mill’s career trajectory following his 2015 battle with Drake.
During a recent episode of the Brilliant Idiots podcast, the Breakfast Club host suggested that the Philly rapper “never got over his feud with Drake,” prompting a strong response from Meek.
During the podcast, Charlamagne explained his thoughts on what he believes is holding Meek back.
“Like, after the fight, something happened,” Charlamagne said. “He didn’t really recover. You know what happened with Mick? To me, Mick’s Achilles’ heel was actually Twitter.”
Charlamagne pointed to Drake’s “Back to Back” diss track, which included the now-infamous line “Trigger finger turned Twitter finger,” as a turning point.
Mick was furious, to say the least. He blasted Charlamagne for trying to damage his brand for no reason and claimed the radio host was secretly gay.

Meek also detailed his post-Drake beef achievements, listing multiple platinum certifications and successful projects.
“Since the Drake beef, I’ve been dropping 3x platinum…peta double platinum…blue note 1 and 2 platinum…the legendary uptown vibes from Brooklyn’s top platinum,” Meek wrote, showcasing his commercial success over the years.
“We have to keep an eye on this cat, I feel like he’s a closet gay who hates successful black people unless he’s in business with them, but they promote me as gay?? I’m helping out 10 pop artists in the East in a big way, without any cash proceeds for charity! I’m definitely that guy, but this is some real publicity for my brand and I want this investigated,” Meeker said.
Charlamagne spoke again at The Breakfast Club today.
“I agree with Mick. The publicity against Mick is weird. It started with that fight. The narrative around him, at least on social media, hasn’t been there yet,” he said. “That’s why I’m not even mad. Well, you know, he said in that article that I was the DL, because that was just a prediction.
“The publicity against him has been weird, at least on social media since that fight, and that’s what I mean when I say he’s not fully recovered, the narrative around him on social media.”
