The Grammy-winning rapper was just a week ago in Moulin Rouge! She made her stage debut as Zidler in “The Musical”, becoming the first woman to play this role in the play.
Her appearance marked a major moment for the show, which has seen everyone from Boy George to Wayne Brady play the iconic nightclub owner.
Meghan’s brief appearance on stage has already caused a stir, with famous attendees including Queen Latifah and Tiffany Haddish turning out to support her historic debut.
Her performance, which featured her own hit records “Savage” and “Body,” added a fresh hip-hop twist to the classic musical that resonated with audiences during its opening week.
Her engagement was scheduled to last until May 17, 2026, but the hospitalization raised questions about her ability to continue performing the rest of the show.
