Jack Harlow certainly takes an interesting route on his new album, Monica.
The hitmaker took a minimalist approach to marketing the project, not releasing any previous singles to give everyone a taste of the sound. This means fans don’t really know what to expect from the album, which was released on his 28th birthday.
The only “promotion” Jack does is a bunch of promotional videos where he is seen having everyday conversations with people. He also gave a rare interview to the New York Times’ Popcast, where he discussed Drake’s early influence on him. It consists of 9 songs, most of which feature Jack tapping into his softer side.
