Sexyy Red shot to fame after using artificial intelligence to perform a bizarre backwards twerking scene in her video “If You Want It.”
On March 6, Sexyy Red premiered a new video for her latest single “If You Want It.” As you can see below, the visual was directed by Sexy and Hidji World, who are known for creating intricate imagery in their music videos. For Sexy’s clip, the choreographed dance moves were apparently done by AI, with Sexyy and her female dancers squirming in the rain. In a bizarre scene, the “SkeeYee” rapper is twerking, but her lower body is flipped backwards as she spins to the beat.
sexyy recounts an AI-generated twerking moment on her X account.
“When he told you to do the trick, he saw it before the Neva [three cry laughing emojis]”, she wrote in the relevant clip. “I’ve always wanted to see ah dancin in a rain scene,” she added.
When a fan asked her to teach her how to perform a backward twerk, she jokingly wrote in another post: “I’m going to start taking lessons.”
Several fans on X also jumped in on the joke about the artificially intelligent twerking scene in the sexy film.
“It’s confusing[.] what the hell[.] Artificial intelligence needs to be stopped. ” one user wrote humorously, along with three crying emojis.
Another man couldn’t believe his eyes. “I have to double check. WTF [tears of joy emoji],” he wrote.
sexyy red is currently developing her fourth project following her 2024 project In sexyy we trust. Last month, she dropped the Key Glock-assisted single “Hand With a Bad B**ch.”
