Quavo owes Uncle Sam nearly $3 million, and the IRS has placed a federal tax lien on him for three years of unpaid taxes.
According to documents filed by TMZ in January 2026, the former Migos rapper faced debts totaling $2,912,644.33.
The government claims Quavo owes $915,660 in taxes for 2021 and $887,486 for 2022. His largest bill dates back to 2023, when he allegedly failed to pay $1,109,497.79 to the federal government.
The tax drama comes at the height of tax filing season, with millions of Americans scrambling to meet the April 15 deadline. The timing brings extra attention to celebrities’ tax issues as ordinary people feel pressured by their returns.
Quavo is not the only Migos member facing serious tax problems.
Offset recently resolved his IRS issues after paying $1,575,266.73 in December 2025. His former Migos bandmates owe 2022 taxes before paying off government debt.
The Atlanta rapper has yet to publicly address the lien or outline any payment plan to the IRS. Federal tax liens remain in the public record until the debt is paid in full or the government releases the claim.
