Monareo revealed she lost her ovaries and fallopian tubes during an emergency surgery and canceled upcoming tour dates.
The Houston rapper addressed the health scare in a lengthy message shared with fans on social media on Tuesday (March 3).
“Unfortunately, I have had to cancel my upcoming shows in Memphis and New Orleans due to a sudden medical emergency requiring immediate surgery,” she wrote on X. “I am extremely disappointed but now I need to prioritize my health and recovery to prevent any further complications.”
In a follow-up post, she addressed her medical issues.
“Yesterday, I suddenly felt a sharp pain in my lower abdomen,” she added. “Took some painkillers and two hours went by and the pain got worse. I went to the ER and could barely get through the ultrasound without throwing up. Worst pain ever.”
She continued, “I had an inflamed cyst the size of a softball that twisted and cut off blood flow causing bleeding in my abdomen. Had to have emergency surgery and unfortunately lost my ovaries and fallopian tubes in the process…Listen to your body!!!!!!! If something doesn’t feel right it is!!!!!!”
Monaleo is currently on the second leg of his “Who Does the Body” tour. With dates in Memphis (March 3) and New Orleans (March 4) canceled, her next scheduled tour date is March 6 in Houston. Although she noted she wasn’t sure how long the healing process would take.
