A flight attendant shared a story about a night she spent at a stockpile in Fort Worth, Texas. Here’s what happened and why she still enjoys spending time in the area.
TikTok founder Morgan Gomez (@lifeofm.o), a flight attendant in Dallas, Texas, posted about the situation on the night of February 16. “I was hanging out with friends last night and I had the funniest experience,” she says at the beginning of the video.
Flight attendant recounts night at Fort Worth Stockyards
Gomez had her first notable encounter of the night when she stopped at a bar with her friends. “This guy came up to me. He was really cute,” she recalled. “He asked, ‘Do you want to dance?’ and I was like, ‘Now?'”
It seemed like an odd question, but Gomez noticed the song that played during his proposal. “Do you know what song is playing?” she asked before playing Lil Jon & the East Side Boyz’s “Get Low.” Why is this weird? “He wanted to two-step,” she explained. “My reaction was, ‘No.'”
The second experience involved an older man approaching Gomez. “Old men always like to comment on my legs because they are big,” she said. “This old man came up to me and said, ‘Do you play volleyball or soccer?’ I said, ‘Is it because of my legs?’ He said, ‘Yeah, you’re tired. ‘ Okay.” “
The series of embarrassing incidents continues
This series of embarrassing events did not end there. “We went to another bar and this guy came up to me and said, ‘Do you want to make out with me?'” she said. “Random. I didn’t even make eye contact. I said, ‘No, I’m fine.’ Bold. I appreciate the boldness, but what’s wrong with people?”
Gomez says at the end of the video that she has nothing against Fort Worth or the stockpile. “Overall, I had a great night,” she said. “I loved going to the stockyards in Fort Worth.”
Audience reaction to this woman’s experience at the stockyards
In the comments section of the film, viewers reacted to the series of events the woman experienced while spending the night at a Fort Worth stockyards.
“What’s wrong with dancing to this song?” one audience member asked. “It’s the most fun to dance to.”
Another viewer said: “You cut me off playing this song. Kill me.”
Another viewer asked: “If I agree to make out, isn’t that a bad thing?” “Unless he’s ugly.”
Another said: “Those experiences would have cured my desire to get out, but I’m an old guy.”
Can you “lower” it in two steps?
Because “Get Low” has a 4/4 time signature, it is actually compatible with the country music two-step, although the tempo is a bit faster than expected for a traditional two-step. So this man’s request is not completely unreasonable.
